Tennessee Fainting Goats are a very unique and special breed of domesticated farm goats. Fainting goats have a genetic condition known as myotonia congenita, which when startled or excited causes them to appear to faint. This condition is not harmful or life threatening and the "fainting" does not harm the goat in any way. It is simply the fainting goat's natural reaction to predators or potentially life threatening situtations, much like an opposum and other animals who will freeze up or play dead when frightened or caught off guard.

Our goats have been very carefully selectively bred for health, temperment, fainting quality, blue eyes, small size and beautiful color variations.

Our goats are very well socialized and will even fall asleep in your arms!

Every goat is vacinated and registered with the International Fainting Goat Association and we maintain very accurate records on every goat's lineage.
